Summary

Empowering Youth Through Summer Employment Act - Amends the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 to direct the Secretary of Labor to award grants to states to help local areas with high concentrations of eligible youth to carry out summer employment programs to provide those youth with summer employment opportunities directly linked to academic and occupational learning.
