Summary
Medicaid Reentry Act (Sec. 2) This bill requires the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to convene a stakeholder workgroup in order to develop best practices for states to: (1) ease the health care transition of inmates released from public institutions (such as by ensuring continuity of health insurance or Medicaid coverage), and (2) implement transitional measures within 30 days of an inmate's release.
