Summary
Provides continuing appropriations to the U.S. Coast Guard for any period in which there is a Coast Guard-specific funding lapse. The bill provides appropriations for the pay, allowances, and benefits of specified Coast Guard personnel and contractors if (1) there is a lapse in appropriations for the Coast Guard, and (2) legislation has been enacted that provides interim or full-year appropriations for the Department of Defense (DOD). The bill provides the appropriations until the earliest of the enactment of specified Coast Guard appropriations legislation, the termination of the availability of appropriations for DOD, or the date that is 180 days after the beginning of the Coast Guard-specific funding lapse.
