Summary

Transportation for Elderly and Disabled Individuals Act of 2015 This bill revises a special rule granting the Department of Transportation authority to make urbanized area formula grants to states or designated entities to finance the operating cost of equipment and facilities for use in public transportation. These grants may also be used for public transportation systems that operate a specified number of buses in general public demand response service during peak hours.
