Summary

Public Safety Enhancement Act of 2009 - Amends the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 to allow flood insurance coverage for structures used to provide a public safety or first responder service, including police and firefighting services, even though such structures have been declared in violation of state laws intended to discourage or restrict land development or occupancy in flood-prone areas.
