SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 987
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize the Greater Law Memorial Church of God in Christ on the
occasion of its Annual Health Fair and May Fest, which is being
held May 21, 2011; and
WHEREAS, The theme for the annual fair, Excitement With
Care, is intended to encourage and motivate people in the
community to live healthier lives daily; and
WHEREAS, The goal of the event is to make a change in the
lives of men, women, and children from all walks of life, to help
them live a better lifestyle; and
WHEREAS, The Annual Health Fair and May Fest is an
expression of the Greater Law Memorial Church of God in Christ's
enduring commitment to its mission and its dedication to the
community it serves; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
Legislature, commend the Greater Law Memorial Church of God in
Christ for its worthy endeavors through its outreach to the
community and extend to all best wishes for a successful Annual
Health Fair and May Fest; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared in
honor of this event as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
