| WHEREAS, The birth of a baby is one of the most treasured | ||
| events in the life of a couple; and | ||
| WHEREAS, January 19, 2011, will be a day long remembered | ||
| and cherished by Jaime Villanueva and Cory McCollough, for on | ||
| that day their daughter, Lucia Christine Villanueva McCollough, | ||
| was born; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The beautiful baby girl was born at 9:53 p.m.; she | ||
| weighed seven pounds and was 19.3 inches long; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Lucia's safe arrival fulfilled her parents' | ||
| dearest wish, and they are joyful over the birth of their first | ||
| child; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This blessed event has brought great pride and | ||
| happiness to Lucia's family, and it is indeed appropriate that | ||
| the Texas Senate welcome this new baby girl to the world; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd | ||
| Legislature, hereby congratulate Jaime and Cory on the birth of | ||
| their precious child and extend best wishes for the future to | ||
| Lucia Christine Villanueva McCollough; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
| the family as a memento of this special event. | ||
