SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 922
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Amanda Fuentes on the auspicious occasion of her
graduation from Saint Dominic Savio Catholic High School; and
WHEREAS, Talented and hardworking, Amanda is a respected
and well-liked student and an exemplary young woman who strives
for excellence in all of her endeavors; and
WHEREAS, She managed a rigorous course load while
participating in numerous extracurricular activities, and she
volunteered her time at many school events and charitable
organizations; she is graduating with a 4.0 grade point
average; and
WHEREAS, Having faced the many challenges of a high school
education with success and distinction, Amanda now embarks on an
adventure into a world for which she is well prepared and which
holds countless exciting opportunities for her; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 85th
Legislature, hereby commend Amanda Fuentes on her many
accomplishments, congratulate her on her graduation from high
school, and extend to her best wishes for the future; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
her as a memento of this special occasion.
