SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 91
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Bud McBrayer on the occasion of his installation as
  governor of Rotary District 5810, which is taking place June 28,
  2011; and
         WHEREAS, A member of the Rotary Club since 1980, Mr. McBrayer
  enjoyed a long and fruitful career as an engineer, beginning in
  1963 with the General Electric Aircraft Engine Group; he
  concluded his professional career in 1998 with the Lockheed
  Martin Space Agency; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. McBrayer has performed many vital functions
  during his time in the Rotary Club; he has held a number of
  offices at the district level, including assistant governor,
  lieutenant governor, and Rotary Youth Leadership Awards staff;
  and
         WHEREAS, Along with his wife, Peggy, who is a recipient of
  the Paul Harris Fellow award, Mr. McBrayer has introduced
  numerous people to the benefits of the Rotary Club; three of his
  grandsons are graduates of the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards
  program; and
         WHEREAS, A charter member of the Paul Harris Society,
  Mr. McBrayer has received numerous honors for his service to the
  Rotary Club, including Rotarian of the Year, the District Service
  Above Self Award, the District Exemplary Leadership Award, and
  the District Pinnacle Award; he is truly deserving of this
  important position; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Bud McBrayer on
  his exceptional service to the Rotary Club and his community and
  extend to him best wishes for a successful term as governor of
  Rotary District 5810; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  him as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
