SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 427
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Robert Charles Dominguez
 
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and
  commemorates the life of Robert Charles Dominguez, who died on
  January 2, 2022, at the age of 55; and
         WHEREAS, Robert Charles Dominguez was born on February 19,
  1966, in Rockport; from a young age, Robert felt called to help
  others and envisioned dedicating his life to serving the greater
  good; he became a game warden with the Texas Parks and Wildlife
  Department to fulfill his calling; and
         WHEREAS, For more than 30 years, Robert watched over our
  state's wildlife and natural resources, doing his best to ensure
  that those who love the beauty of the outdoors in Texas had safe and
  enjoyable experiences in nature; throughout the course of his
  faithful service, Robert rescued numerous people from accidents
  and natural disasters, and he forged lasting friendships with
  colleagues and with many of the people he met through his work; and
         WHEREAS, A courageous man who was respected and admired by
  his colleagues and friends for his generous spirit as well as for
  his many heroic acts, Robert received recognition for his
  distinguished service and accomplishments, including being named
  the Coastal Conservation Association Game Warden of the Year for
  South Texas by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department in 2015; and
         WHEREAS, Robert was a source of inspiration to the members
  of his community, and his warmth and positive outlook on life
  will not be forgotten by those who were blessed to share in his
  life; left to treasure his memory are his beloved wife, Shelley;
  their three sons, Scott, Nick, and Joel; his loving siblings; and
  his many nieces and nephews; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
  Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved
  family of Robert Charles Dominguez; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
  Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
  memory of Robert Dominguez.
