| WHEREAS, Senate Bill No. 768 has been adopted by the senate | ||
| and the house of representatives and is being prepared for | ||
| enrollment; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The bill contains technical errors that should be | ||
| corrected; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED by the 82nd Legislature of the State of Texas, That | ||
| the enrolling clerk of the senate be instructed to correct Senate | ||
| Bill No. 768 as follows: | ||
| (1) In SECTION 1 of the bill, in Section 8379.003, Special | ||
| District Local Laws Code, as added by House Floor Amendment No. 2 | ||
| (2nd reading), strike "Section 49.107" and substitute "Section | ||
| 49.102". | ||
| (2) In SECTION 1 of the bill, at the end of Subsection (d), | ||
| Section 8379.051, Special District Local Laws Code, as added by | ||
| House Floor Amendment No. 2 (2nd reading), add the following: "A | ||
| permanent director may not serve more than two four-year terms.". | ||
