SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Senate Bill No. 768 has been adopted by the senate |
|
|
and the house of representatives and is being prepared for |
|
|
enrollment; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The bill contains technical errors that should be |
|
|
corrected; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED by the 82nd Legislature of the State of Texas, That |
|
|
the enrolling clerk of the senate be instructed to correct Senate |
|
|
Bill No. 768 as follows: |
|
|
(1) In SECTION 1 of the bill, in Section 8379.003, Special |
|
|
District Local Laws Code, as added by House Floor Amendment No. 2 |
|
|
(2nd reading), strike "Section 49.107" and substitute "Section |
|
|
49.102". |
|
|
(2) In SECTION 1 of the bill, at the end of Subsection (d), |
|
|
Section 8379.051, Special District Local Laws Code, as added by |
|
|
House Floor Amendment No. 2 (2nd reading), add the following: "A |
|
|
permanent director may not serve more than two four-year terms.". |
