| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Article 26.044(l), Code of Criminal Procedure, | ||
| is repealed. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. | ||
