| WHEREAS, Leslie Thomas has earned great distinction with her | ||
| outstanding service as principal of Cactus Trails Elementary School | ||
| in the Socorro Independent School District; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the | ||
| students, faculty, and staff of Cactus Trails Elementary School, | ||
| Ms. Thomas has led the way in fostering a supportive and challenging | ||
| educational environment on campus; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A quality education is critical to the continuing | ||
| vitality of our state, and Leslie Thomas is playing an instrumental | ||
| role in helping students to reach their full potential and become | ||
| engaged and productive members of their community; now, therefore, | ||
| be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Leslie Thomas for her contributions as | ||
| principal of Cactus Trails Elementary School and extend to her | ||
| sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Thomas as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
