| WHEREAS, Cheryl Foster has served with distinction as | ||
| Republican Party precinct chair of Precinct 761 in Harris County; | ||
| and | ||
| WHEREAS, Precinct chairs are integral to the success of their | ||
| party's mission to elect public servants who will build a better | ||
| state and nation for current and future generations; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Because public policy affects our daily lives, | ||
| citizens must exercise their right to vote, and precinct chairs | ||
| play an important role in the election process; their efforts to | ||
| inspire voters to support their party's candidates are part of a | ||
| proud and vital tradition in our state and nation; and | ||
| WHEREAS, It is most appropriate that we take this opportunity | ||
| to recognize an outstanding Texan who has devoted time and energy | ||
| toward promoting the Republican Party goals of limited government, | ||
| free enterprise, personal liberty, and strong national security; | ||
| now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
| Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Cheryl Foster for | ||
| serving as Republican Party precinct chair of Precinct 761 in | ||
| Harris County and extend to this dedicated community leader sincere | ||
| best wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Cheryl Foster as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
