| WHEREAS, Lopez Pressure Wash of Corrigan has been selected as | ||
| a 2020 Small Business of the Year by the Lufkin/Angelina County | ||
| Chamber of Commerce; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Each year, the chamber honors businesses for their | ||
| contributions to the local community, and Lopez Pressure Wash was | ||
| named as the recipient for Division 3, which consists of companies | ||
| with 10 or fewer employees; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Ashley and Francisco Lopez began a side business | ||
| pressure washing trucks in 2011, and seven years later, they | ||
| officially established Lopez Pressure Wash as a full-time | ||
| operation; since its founding, the company has expanded its | ||
| services to include pressure washing of residential and commercial | ||
| properties; moreover, the business has proven to be a generous | ||
| community partner by volunteering to clean local playgrounds during | ||
| the COVID-19 pandemic; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Small businesses play a critical role in meeting the | ||
| needs of area residents, and the owners and employees of Lopez | ||
| Pressure Wash may take great pride in this notable honor; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Lopez Pressure Wash on its | ||
| selection as a 2020 Small Business of the Year by the | ||
| Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce and extend to all those | ||
| associated with the company sincere best wishes for continued | ||
| success; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for the business as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
