WHEREAS, Justin Fowler was honored as the Firefighter of the | ||
Year of the Burnet Fire Department at the Hill Country 100 Club | ||
Membership/Awards Banquet on January 15, 2015; and | ||
WHEREAS, Founded in 2002, the Hill Country 100 Club provides | ||
valuable support to first responders in Central Texas; each year, | ||
the organization's awards banquet honors outstanding peace | ||
officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and support | ||
staff in Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and Lampasas Counties; and | ||
WHEREAS, Mr. Fowler has been a longtime member of the Burnet | ||
Fire Department; his efforts to develop a training program, which | ||
have included planning and preparing a large-scale live fire | ||
exercise, have been crucial to the department's success; and | ||
WHEREAS, Through his skill and dedication to duty, Justin | ||
Fowler exemplifies the highest ideals of his profession and | ||
contributes immeasurably to the safety and well-being of his fellow | ||
citizens; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Justin Fowler on his selection as | ||
the Hill Country 100 Club Firefighter of the Year of the Burnet Fire | ||
Department and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued | ||
success with his important work; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. Fowler as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
House of Representatives. | ||
