WHEREAS, Bruce Morgan was honored as Officer of the Year of | ||
the Burnet County Constable's Office at the Hill Country 100 Club | ||
Membership/Awards Banquet on January 15, 2015; and | ||
WHEREAS, Founded in 2002, the Hill Country 100 Club provides | ||
valuable support to first responders in Central Texas; each year, | ||
the organization's awards banquet honors outstanding peace | ||
officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and support | ||
staff in Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and Lampasas Counties; and | ||
WHEREAS, Bruce Morgan was nominated for this notable accolade | ||
for his efforts in the area of court security; this esteemed officer | ||
has nearly three decades of experience in law enforcement, and he | ||
was previously honored by the Hill Country 100 Club for his service | ||
with the Burnet Police Department; and | ||
WHEREAS, Through his dedication to duty, Bruce Morgan | ||
exemplifies the highest ideals of his profession and contributes | ||
immeasurably to the safety and well-being of his fellow citizens; | ||
now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Bruce Morgan on his selection as | ||
the Hill Country 100 Club Officer of the Year for the Burnet County | ||
Constable's Office and extend to him sincere best wishes for | ||
continued success with his important work; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Officer Morgan as an expression of high regard by the | ||
Texas House of Representatives. | ||
