| WHEREAS, Don Duff has been elected to the Denton City | ||
| Council, and he is indeed deserving of special recognition; and | ||
| WHEREAS, In his role with the Denton City Council, Mr. Duff | ||
| partners closely with other council members to ensure that | ||
| constituent needs are met and the city's goals, including | ||
| infrastructure improvements and other major projects, are | ||
| achieved; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of | ||
| life for their fellow citizens in innumerable ways, and the efforts | ||
| of Don Duff will help to make Denton an even better place in which to | ||
| live and work; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
| Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Don Duff on | ||
| his election to the Denton City Council and extend to him sincere | ||
| best wishes for a successful tenure; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Duff as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
