R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Brenda Escobar is graduating from Pasadena Early
College High School on June 4, 2015; and
WHEREAS, In undertaking the rigorous PECHS curriculum,
Ms. Escobar has completed an accelerated course of study in which
she has earned both a high school diploma and an associate's degree
in business from San Jacinto Community College; and
WHEREAS, One of the top 10 graduates in her class,
Ms. Escobar plans to continue her education at the University of
Houston, where she will major in business; and
WHEREAS, During her years at PECHS, this accomplished young
Texan has distinguished herself through her skill and
determination, and the knowledge and confidence she has acquired
along the way will serve her well in the years to come; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Brenda Escobar on her graduation
from Pasadena Early College High School as a member of the Class of
2015 and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Escobar as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
