H.R. No. 2779

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Kenneth Logan Carson marked a significant milestone
in his life on May 9, 2015, when he graduated from Liberty
University; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Carson demonstrated impressive dedication to
his studies while earning his bachelor's degree in criminal
justice; an active member of his college community, he participated
in intramural sports and often gave freely of his time and talents
as a volunteer for a number of worthwhile organizations; and
WHEREAS, The son of proud parents Holt and Teresa Carson and
brother of Mica and Jenna Carson, Mr. Carson is a 2011 graduate of
Dripping Springs High School; he enjoys coaching youth sports in
Dripping Springs with his father, and in addition, he has gained
valuable experience in public service as a legislative intern in
the office of State Representative Leighton Schubert during the
84th Texas Legislative Session; this fine young Texan will mark yet
another major life event on January 9, 2016, when he will be married
to his fiancée, Madison Piner; and
WHEREAS, Committed to excellence in all of his endeavors,
Kenneth Logan Carson may indeed reflect on his academic career with
justifiable pride and look forward to a future bright with promise;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Kenneth Logan Carson on his
graduation from Liberty University and extend to him sincere best
wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Carson as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
