WHEREAS, Kenneth Brown, a lifelong resident of Waco, passed | ||
away on April 15, 2011, at the age of 51, leaving his circle of | ||
family and friends to cherish their many happy memories of time | ||
spent in his company; and | ||
WHEREAS, The second youngest of 13 children, Kenneth Brown | ||
was born in Waco on December 18, 1959, to Leo and Christine Brown; | ||
devoted to his faith, he was a congregant of Hood Street Church of | ||
Christ and a former member of Macedonia Baptist Church; and | ||
WHEREAS, Mr. Brown was known for his warm smile and for his | ||
inner strength and determination; he lived a courageous and | ||
purposeful life that served as an inspiration to those who knew him; | ||
and | ||
WHEREAS, While Kenneth Brown's years on this earth ended far | ||
too soon, he leaves behind a legacy that will be forever treasured | ||
by all those who held him dear; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas | ||
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Kenneth Brown and | ||
extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his | ||
father, Leo Brown; to his brothers, Leon Brown and Bobby Joe Smith; | ||
to his sisters, Sandra Kaye Brown-Broadus-Parker, Linda Faye Brown, | ||
Brenda Joyce Brown, Livia Anderson, Denita Thompson and her | ||
husband, Ralph, and Gail Thompson and her husband, Steve; and to his | ||
other relatives and friends; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of | ||
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Kenneth | ||
Brown. | ||
