R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Summerlyn Nasser has distinguished herself in her
  responsibilities as director of communications in the office of
  State Representative Josey Garcia during the 88th Legislature; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Nasser's resourcefulness and initiative have
  earned the appreciation of her colleagues, and her contributions to
  carrying forth Representative Garcia's legislative agenda have
  helped address issues facing citizens across the Lone Star State;
  and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff as a participant in the
  Texas Legislative Internship Program, Ms. Nasser has assisted with
  more than 200 pieces of legislation, and she has played an
  instrumental role in fostering a positive team environment; and
         WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her
  duties as director of communications with skill and dedication, and
  she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Summerlyn Nasser for her service as
  director of communications in the office of State Representative
  Josey Garcia and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
  success in all her endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Nasser as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
