R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, During the 82nd Legislative Session, Jacob Welch has
  skillfully served his fellow Texans as assistant clerk for the
  House Committee on Technology; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Welch provided helpful support during the
  committee's deliberations, and he ably assisted the public with
  inquiries concerning the committee's work; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Dan and Dolly Welch, Mr. Welch graduated
  cum laude from the University of Arkansas with a dual degree in
  economics and finance; he holds a law degree from Tulane University
  Law School, and he passed the Texas bar in 2010; and
         WHEREAS, Approaching his responsibilities with energy and
  professionalism, Mr. Welch has made important contributions to the
  legislative process during the current session, and it is most
  fitting to recognize him for a job well done; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Jacob Welch for his service as assistant
  clerk for the House Committee on Technology and extend to him
  sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Welch as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
