| WHEREAS, During the 82nd Legislative Session, Jacob Welch has | ||
| skillfully served his fellow Texans as assistant clerk for the | ||
| House Committee on Technology; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mr. Welch provided helpful support during the | ||
| committee's deliberations, and he ably assisted the public with | ||
| inquiries concerning the committee's work; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The son of Dan and Dolly Welch, Mr. Welch graduated | ||
| cum laude from the University of Arkansas with a dual degree in | ||
| economics and finance; he holds a law degree from Tulane University | ||
| Law School, and he passed the Texas bar in 2010; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Approaching his responsibilities with energy and | ||
| professionalism, Mr. Welch has made important contributions to the | ||
| legislative process during the current session, and it is most | ||
| fitting to recognize him for a job well done; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Jacob Welch for his service as assistant | ||
| clerk for the House Committee on Technology and extend to him | ||
| sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Welch as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
