| WHEREAS, Andrew Koenig Jr. has ably served his fellow Texans | ||
| as an aide in the office of State Representative Hugh Shine during | ||
| the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Called Sessions of the 87th Legislature; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Koenig has provided | ||
| vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; | ||
| in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public | ||
| service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the | ||
| issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A graduate of Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, | ||
| Mr. Koenig attends The University of Texas at Austin, where he is | ||
| pursuing a bachelor's degree in government; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed his duties as a | ||
| legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed | ||
| deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, | ||
| be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas | ||
| Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commend Andrew Koenig Jr. | ||
| for his service as a legislative aide in the office of State | ||
| Representative Hugh Shine and extend to him sincere best wishes for | ||
| continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Koenig as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
