R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will forever cherish their
  memories of Omar Onofre Solis II of Nueces County, who passed away
  on January 26, 2023, at the age of 39; and
         WHEREAS, Born in Corpus Christi on December 13, 1983, Omar
  Solis was the son of Omar and Martha Solis, and he grew up with the
  companionship of two brothers, Johnny and Oscar; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Solis later embraced his role as a father to two
  beloved daughters, Scarlett and Sophia; and
         WHEREAS, Though his journey on this earth ended far too soon,
  Omar Solis leaves behind numerous friends and loved ones whose
  lives are far richer for having known him, and he will always hold a
  treasured place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Omar Onofre
  Solis II and extend sincere condolences to the members of his
  family: to his daughters, Scarlett Rose Solis and Sophia Elena
  Solis; to his parents, Omar and Martha Solis; to his brothers,
  Johnny Garcia and Oscar Luis Solis; to his grandmother, Guadalupe
  Santos; to his aunts and uncles, Dalia "Tia Nona" Rodriguez-Lopez
  and her husband, JC, Sylvia Santos, Diana Santos, Janie Zamora,
  Cruz Santos and his wife, Norma, and Ernest Santos; and to his other
  relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Omar Solis.
