| WHEREAS, Anna Newell has ably served her fellow Texans as | ||
| chief committee clerk for the House Administration Committee and | ||
| its chair, State Representative Will Metcalf, during the 88th | ||
| Legislative Session; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Newell has ably handled | ||
| a wide variety of challenging tasks; in addition to gaining | ||
| valuable experience in the field of public service, she has learned | ||
| more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens | ||
| of the Lone Star State; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a | ||
| chief committee clerk with skill and dedication, and she is indeed | ||
| deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, | ||
| be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Anna Newell for her service as chief | ||
| committee clerk for the House Administration Committee and its | ||
| chair, State Representative Will Metcalf, and extend to her sincere | ||
| best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it | ||
| further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Newell as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
