	H.R. No. 2233



	R E S O L U T I O N

	WHEREAS, A life lived with joy and purpose came to an untimely
	end with the passing of Anthony Guajardo of Weslaco on March 4,
	2017, at the age of 46; and
	WHEREAS, The son of Rudy Saenz and Edna May Saenz, Anthony
	Guajardo grew up with the companionship of his two sisters, Gina and
	Erica; and
	WHEREAS, This esteemed Texan was affectionately known as
	"Big A," in part due to his imposing stature but also because his
	kindhearted nature and generosity of spirit made him a
	larger-than-life figure to the many people who benefited from his
	assistance; and
	WHEREAS, Although Anthony Guajardo's journey on this earth
	ended far too soon, he will be fondly remembered and deeply missed
	by all who had the privilege to know him; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
	Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Anthony Guajardo and
	extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
	parents, Rudy Saenz and Edna May Saenz; to his sisters, Gina Saenz
	and Erica Garcia and her husband, Joseph; to his nephew, Jayden
	Garcia; to his numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and to his other
	relatives and many friends; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
	Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Anthony
	Guajardo.
