R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Michael Winston Flower
  of Corpus Christi were deeply saddened by his passing on April 14,
  2023, at the age of 60; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Winston and Kathleen Flower, Michael
  Flower was born in North Platte, Nebraska, on August 5, 1962, and he
  grew up with the companionship of his brother, Patrick, and his
  half-siblings, David and Linda; in 1980, he graduated from Nelson
  High School, and he went on to attend the University of
  Nebraska-Lincoln; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Flower worked for Thermo King and Ikon Solutions
  before establishing his own photography business, Parkside
  Imaging, where he specialized in weddings and quinceañeras; and
         WHEREAS, Above all else, Mr. Flower was devoted to his
  family; he shared a rewarding marriage with his wife, Michelle,
  that spanned 35 years, and he took immense pride in their three
  daughters, Anastasia, Allison, and Ashley; a man of strong faith,
  he was baptized on May 9, 1999, at First Baptist Corpus Christi; in
  his leisure time, he enjoyed watching his girls in various
  activities and cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers; and
         WHEREAS, Although Michael Flower will be deeply missed, he
  has left his family and friends with a wealth of memories that they
  will forever treasure; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Michael Winston
  Flower and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family:
  to his wife, Michelle McKevitt Flower; to his daughters, Anastasia,
  Allison, and Ashley Flower; to his brother, Patrick Flower, and his
  wife, Stacy; to his brother-in-law, Larry McKevitt, and his
  husband, Sergio; to his sisters-in-law, Barbara McKevitt Renken and
  her husband, Travis, and Debbie McKevitt and her fiancé, Preston
  Gehle; to his nieces and nephews, Kayla McClintock, McKinley
  Flower, Cameron McKevitt, Mariah Renken Wendelin, Tatum Renken,
  Tanner Renken, Jasmine Thompson, and Zachary Tippin; and to his
  other relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Michael
  Flower.
