WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the | ||
passing of Leland Ray Walding of Livingston on April 5, 2013, at the | ||
age of 80; and | ||
WHEREAS, Mr. Walding was born in Montgomery County on | ||
December 10, 1932, to Lewis and Etta Walding; as a young man, he | ||
married Syble Walding, and the couple were blessed with two | ||
children, Connie and Douglas; and | ||
WHEREAS, Through the years, Mr. Walding also served as a | ||
source of wisdom and inspiration to his granddaughter, Jessica, and | ||
his grandson, Brian; and | ||
WHEREAS, Leland Walding treasured the time he spent in the | ||
company of his family and friends, and those he leaves behind will | ||
forever carry their memories of him close in their hearts; now, | ||
therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Leland Ray Walding and | ||
extend sincere sympathy to his daughter, Connie Walding; to his | ||
son, Douglas Walding, and his wife, Melissa; to his brother, Bruce | ||
Walding, and his wife, Nancy; to his grandchildren, Jessica and | ||
Brian Walding; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it | ||
further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of | ||
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Leland Ray | ||
Walding. |
