| WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of | ||
| mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Leonard and Martha | ||
| Evans are celebrating this joyous milestone in their marriage on | ||
| May 25, 2023; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Valued residents of Ovilla, "Junior" and Martha | ||
| Evans were joined in matrimony in 1973; over the years, the couple | ||
| have shared many precious moments with their family and friends, | ||
| and they have met life's challenges and opportunities with grace | ||
| and optimism; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Evans have enjoyed five decades of | ||
| abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an | ||
| exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting | ||
| commitment; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Leonard and Martha Evans and extend | ||
| to them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it | ||
| further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Evans as an expression of high regard by | ||
| the Texas House of Representatives. | ||
