WHEREAS, Ahmi Mikayla Robertson has been named valedictorian | ||
of the Class of 2023 at Banquete High School, and she indeed merits | ||
special recognition for receiving this significant honor; and | ||
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only | ||
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the | ||
highest academic standards; in securing her place as the | ||
top-ranking student in her class, Ms. Robertson demonstrated a | ||
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her | ||
attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement | ||
of a notable high school career; and | ||
WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being | ||
recognized for her hard work, she has gained the opportunity to | ||
address her fellow seniors at commencement and to reflect on their | ||
shared history as well as their hopes and ambitions; and | ||
WHEREAS, During her years at Banquete High School, Ahmi | ||
Mikayla Robertson has earned the respect and admiration of both her | ||
teachers and classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and | ||
commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and | ||
promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, | ||
be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Ahmi Mikayla Robertson on | ||
graduating as valedictorian of the Banquete High School Class of | ||
2023 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as | ||
she begins the next exciting chapter of her life. | ||
