WHEREAS, Jace Wilson has been named valedictorian of the | ||
Class of 2023 at Bishop High School, and he indeed merits special | ||
recognition for receiving this significant honor; and | ||
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only | ||
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the | ||
highest academic standards; in securing his place as the | ||
top-ranking student in his class, Mr. Wilson demonstrated a | ||
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his | ||
attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement | ||
of a notable high school career; and | ||
WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being | ||
recognized for his hard work, he has gained the opportunity to | ||
address his fellow seniors at commencement and to reflect on their | ||
shared history as well as their hopes and ambitions; and | ||
WHEREAS, During his years at Bishop High School, Jace Wilson | ||
has earned the respect and admiration of both his teachers and | ||
classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and commitment | ||
to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future | ||
for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Jace Wilson on graduating as | ||
valedictorian of the Bishop High School Class of 2023 and extend to | ||
him sincere best wishes for continued success as he begins the next | ||
exciting chapter of his life. | ||
