| WHEREAS, The passing of Howard Mason, Sr., of Silsbee on | ||
| April 5, 2013, at the age of 72, has deeply saddened all those who | ||
| knew and loved him; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Known as "Jack" to his friends and family, Mr. Mason | ||
| was a lifelong resident of Silsbee, where he worked as a carpenter | ||
| until his retirement; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Although Mr. Mason will be sorely missed, he will | ||
| long be fondly remembered by those individuals whose lives were | ||
| touched by his affection and friendship; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Howard Mason, Sr., and | ||
| extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his | ||
| sons, Howard Jack Mason, Jr., and Brian Mason; to his daughter, | ||
| Jackie Mason; and to his two sisters, six grandchildren, and three | ||
| great-grandchildren; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of | ||
| Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Howard | ||
| "Jack" Mason, Sr. | ||
