R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The certain knowledge of a life well lived may
  temper the profound sadness felt by the loved ones of Ralph
  M. Lazarine of San Antonio, who passed away on June 10, 2011, at the
  age of 64; and
         WHEREAS, Born on October 1, 1946, to Benito and Hortence
  Lazarine, Ralph Lazarine graduated from Highlands High School and
  attended San Antonio College; he answered his nation's call to duty
  with service in the United States Air Force and went on to become a
  lifetime member of VFW Post No. 76; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Lazarine worked at Datapoint Corporation for a
  quarter of a century before retiring and then served as chief
  operating officer at Resco Electronics; he shared his time and
  energy with the University Transplant Center; above all else, he
  was devoted to his wife of 43 years, Nora Lazarine, and to his
  children, Deborah and Ralph; and
         WHEREAS, Although Ralph Lazarine will be deeply missed,
  cherished memories of time spent in his company will long endure in
  the hearts of his family and friends; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of
  Ralph M. Lazarine and extend sincere condolences to the members of
  his family: to his wife, Nora Lazarine; to his daughter, Deborah
  Ramirez-Cotter; to his son, Ralph Lazarine, Jr., and his wife,
  Sarah; to his grandchildren, Jillian, Jared, and Jordan Cotter,
  Ralph Lazarine III, Gabriella and Derek Lazarine, and Ashleigh Ard;
  to his great-grandchild, Makenzie Ard-Humes; to his brothers,
  Antonio and Albert Lazarine; to his sisters, Diana Galan and Debora
  Lazarine; to his sisters-in-law, Rebecca and Mary Lou Lazarine; and
  to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Ralph
  M. Lazarine.
