R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Braden Robinson and Easton Cox of the Lorena
  Independent School District excelled at the Heart of Texas Regional
  History Fair in February 2015, earning the right to participate in
  the Texas History Day statewide contest; and
         WHEREAS, After working for the better part of a year on a
  historical project of their choosing, this talented pair of
  eighth-graders faced off against some of the brightest minds from
  around Central Texas on the campus of Baylor University; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Robinson took home first-place honors in the
  historical paper division, and Mr. Cox was recognized as the
  runner-up in the individual exhibit category; with their exemplary
  performances, they qualified for the state-level Texas History Day
  contest to be held May 2 in Austin; and
         WHEREAS, In attaining this notable accomplishment, these
  capable young Texans have demonstrated great initiative and
  ability, and they may indeed look forward to a future bright with
  promise; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Braden Robinson and Easton Cox on
  their achievements in Texas History Day competition and extend to
  them sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared
  for the students as an expression of high regard by the Texas House
  of Representatives.
