| WHEREAS, Caitlin Rowley has ably served her fellow Texans as | ||
| an aide in the office of State Representative Ann Johnson during the | ||
| 87th Legislative Session; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Rowley has provided | ||
| vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, | ||
| including supporting Representative Johnson in her role on the | ||
| House Appropriations Committee, researching Medicaid and the | ||
| Children's Health Insurance Program, and tracking and analyzing | ||
| state health policy proposals; in addition to gaining valuable | ||
| experience in the field of public service, she has learned more | ||
| about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the | ||
| Lone Star State; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Ms. Rowley previously interned with the House State | ||
| Affairs Committee and with The Sheridan Group in Washington, D.C.; | ||
| in May 2021, she graduated from The University of Texas at Austin | ||
| Liberal Arts Honors Program with a bachelor's degree in health and | ||
| society; she has further distinguished herself as co-chair of The | ||
| Crohn's and Colitis Foundation National Council of College Leaders | ||
| and as a member of the Texas Children's Hospital Patient Advisory | ||
| Board; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a | ||
| legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed | ||
| deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, | ||
| be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas | ||
| Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Caitlin Rowley for | ||
| her service as a legislative aide in the office of State | ||
| Representative Ann Johnson and extends its sincerest best wishes | ||
| for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Rowley as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
