| WHEREAS, The We Got Their Back to Back Cook-Off is taking | ||
| place in Tomball on May 29 and 30, 2021; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Sanctioned by Champions Barbecue Alliance as one of | ||
| the organization's annual state cook-offs, this much anticipated | ||
| event attracts accomplished pit masters from across Texas who put | ||
| their culinary skills to the test as they vie to produce the | ||
| tastiest entries in several different categories; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Guests have the opportunity to sample a variety of | ||
| savory dishes while enjoying a fun, family-oriented day; all | ||
| proceeds from the contest benefit VFW Post 2427; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Texans are noted for their love of barbecue, and the | ||
| We Got Their Back to Back Cook-Off is sure to offer everyone in | ||
| attendance the chance to enjoy good food and good times while | ||
| supporting a worthwhile cause; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commemorate the 2021 We Got Their Back to Back | ||
| Cook-Off and extend to the organizers, contestants, and attendees | ||
| sincere best wishes for a fun and successful event. | ||
