R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The We Got Their Back to Back Cook-Off is taking
  place in Tomball on May 29 and 30, 2021; and
         WHEREAS, Sanctioned by Champions Barbecue Alliance as one of
  the organization's annual state cook-offs, this much anticipated
  event attracts accomplished pit masters from across Texas who put
  their culinary skills to the test as they vie to produce the
  tastiest entries in several different categories; and
         WHEREAS, Guests have the opportunity to sample a variety of
  savory dishes while enjoying a fun, family-oriented day; all
  proceeds from the contest benefit VFW Post 2427; and
         WHEREAS, Texans are noted for their love of barbecue, and the
  We Got Their Back to Back Cook-Off is sure to offer everyone in
  attendance the chance to enjoy good food and good times while
  supporting a worthwhile cause; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
  Legislature hereby commemorate the 2021 We Got Their Back to Back
  Cook-Off and extend to the organizers, contestants, and attendees
  sincere best wishes for a fun and successful event.
