| WHEREAS, Violanda Mascorro was honored by the City of Edcouch | ||
| as part of the 2022 From the Delta, With Love ceremony; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The From the Delta, With Love program highlights | ||
| musicians and other artists who have contributed to the vibrant | ||
| culture of the Delta area; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Violanda Mascorro is furthering an impressive | ||
| legacy of artistic achievement in the Lone Star State, and it is a | ||
| pleasure to join in recognizing her for her exceptional talent; | ||
| now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Violanda Mascorro on being honored | ||
| at the 2022 From the Delta, With Love ceremony and extend to her | ||
| sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Mascorro as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
