| WHEREAS, Helen Bledsoe of Houston has served with distinction | ||
| as Republican Party precinct chair of Precinct 626 in Harris | ||
| County, making lasting contributions to the people of the county | ||
| and to the election process; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Precinct chairs are integral to the success of the | ||
| party's mission to elect public servants who will build a better | ||
| state and nation for our families and children based on traditional | ||
| values and core conservative principles; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Because public policy affects our daily lives, the | ||
| work of these dedicated community leaders helps to build a | ||
| prosperous state with citizens who are prepared to meet the | ||
| challenges of the future; and | ||
| WHEREAS, It is most appropriate to take this opportunity to | ||
| recognize an outstanding Texan who has devoted time, energy, and | ||
| talents toward realizing Texas Republican Party platform goals such | ||
| as limiting government power, strengthening and safeguarding | ||
| children and families, and affirming the importance of personal | ||
| responsibility and the entrepreneurial spirit; now, therefore, be | ||
| it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Helen Bledsoe for serving as Republican | ||
| Party chair of Precinct 626 in Harris County and extend to this | ||
| public-spirited individual sincere best wishes for the future; and, | ||
| be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Bledsoe as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
