R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Stuart Mayper of Houston has served with distinction
  as Republican Party precinct chair of Precinct 492 in Harris
  County, making lasting contributions to the people of the county
  and to the election process; and
         WHEREAS, Precinct chairs are integral to the success of the
  party's mission to elect public servants who will build a better
  state and nation for our families and children based on traditional
  values and core conservative principles; and
         WHEREAS, Because public policy affects our daily lives, the
  work of these dedicated community leaders helps to build a
  prosperous state with citizens who are prepared to meet the
  challenges of the future; and
         WHEREAS, It is most appropriate to take this opportunity to
  recognize an outstanding Texan who has devoted time, energy, and
  talents toward realizing Texas Republican Party platform goals such
  as limiting government power, strengthening and safeguarding
  children and families, and affirming the importance of personal
  responsibility and the entrepreneurial spirit; now, therefore, be
  it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Stuart Mayper for serving as Republican
  Party chair of Precinct 492 in Harris County and extend to this
  public-spirited individual sincere best wishes for the future; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Mayper as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
