R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, A delegation from Northeast Christian Academy in
  Kingwood is visiting the State Capitol on May 16, 2011; and
         WHEREAS, Founded in 1993 by Dr. Kenneth Stone, Northeast
  Christian Academy is accredited by the Association of Christian
  Schools International and the Southern Association of Colleges and
  Schools; and
         WHEREAS, Today, the institution offers classes for nearly 200
  students in prekindergarten through 12th grade; under the able
  guidance of head of school Brad Baggett, the school benefits the
  wider community, as well, by administering a food pantry, blood
  drives, and shelters for women and families; students also perform
  yard work for the elderly; and
         WHEREAS, Committed to providing high-quality, faith-centered
  education, Northeast Christian Academy is helping its students
  succeed personally and academically, and in so doing, it is
  building a solid foundation for their future achievement; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby welcome members of the Northeast Christian
  Academy community to the State Capitol and extend to them sincere
  best wishes for an informative and memorable visit to Austin; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the group as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
