R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Jessica Rubio has ably served her fellow Texans as
  an aide in the office of State Representative Gina Calanni during
  the 86th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Rubio has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
  in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
  service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the
  issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, A graduate of the University of Houston, Ms. Rubio
  spent much of her time in college interning with organizations that
  positively impacted the local community; she plans to begin
  pursuing a master's degree in the fall of 2019; and
         WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a
  legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
  deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Jessica Rubio for her service as a
  legislative aide in the office of State Representative Gina Calanni
  and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all
  her endeavors; and, be it further
         
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Rubio as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
