| WHEREAS, Tiffany Nivens graduated as the valedictorian of the | ||
| senior class of Sanford-Fritch High School in Fritch on May 31, | ||
| 2013; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only | ||
| intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the | ||
| highest academic standards; to attain this coveted distinction, Ms. | ||
| Nivens demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide range of | ||
| subjects, and the rewards of the countless hours she has devoted to | ||
| her studies are myriad; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A member of the National Honor Society, she served | ||
| as vice president of the senior class and was active in UIL | ||
| competition throughout her high school career; her future plans | ||
| include attending West Texas A&M University and pursuing an | ||
| occupation in the medical field; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Ms. Nivens has earned the respect and admiration of | ||
| her teachers and classmates at Sanford-Fritch High School, and her | ||
| exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment to | ||
| excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for this | ||
| remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
| Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Tiffany | ||
| Nivens on being named valedictorian of the Sanford-Fritch High | ||
| School Class of 2013 and extend to her sincere best wishes for | ||
| continued success as she begins the next exciting chapter of her | ||
| life; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Nivens as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
