| WHEREAS, Audra Dannette Rauh graduated as salutatorian of the | ||
| Class of 2013 at River Road High School in Amarillo on June 7, 2013; | ||
| and | ||
| WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only | ||
| intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the | ||
| highest academic standards; to attain this coveted distinction, | ||
| Ms. Rauh demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide range of | ||
| subjects, and the rewards of the countless hours she has devoted to | ||
| her studies are myriad; and | ||
| WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being | ||
| recognized as one of the two highest achieving students in her | ||
| class, Ms. Rauh gained the opportunity to address her fellow | ||
| seniors at commencement and to reflect on their shared history as | ||
| well as their hopes and ambitions for the future; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents William and Deborah | ||
| Rauh, Audra Dannette Rauh has earned the respect and admiration of | ||
| her teachers and classmates at River Road High School, and her | ||
| exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment to | ||
| excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for this | ||
| remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
| Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Audra | ||
| Dannette Rauh, salutatorian of the River Road High School Class of | ||
| 2013, and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as | ||
| she begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Rauh as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
