| WHEREAS, Aubree Elizabeth Bast graduated as valedictorian of | ||
| the 2013 senior class of River Road High School in Amarillo, and she | ||
| truly merits special recognition for her impressive achievements; | ||
| and | ||
| WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only | ||
| intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the | ||
| highest academic standards; to attain this coveted distinction, Ms. | ||
| Bast demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide range of | ||
| subjects, and the rewards of the countless hours she has devoted to | ||
| her studies are myriad; and | ||
| WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being | ||
| recognized as the highest achieving student in her class, Ms. Bast | ||
| gained the opportunity to address her fellow seniors at | ||
| commencement and to reflect on their shared history as well as their | ||
| hopes and ambitions for the future; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents David and Kim Bast, | ||
| Aubree Elizabeth Bast has earned the respect and admiration of her | ||
| teachers and classmates at River Road High School, and her | ||
| exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment to | ||
| excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for this | ||
| remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
| Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Aubree | ||
| Elizabeth Bast, valedictorian of the River Road High School Class | ||
| of 2013, and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success | ||
| as she begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it | ||
| further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Bast as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
