| WHEREAS, Julían Ramírez of Mission has ably served his fellow | ||
| Texans as an assistant in the office of State Representative | ||
| R. D. "Bobby" Guerra during the 88th Legislative Session; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Ramírez has provided | ||
| vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, | ||
| including scheduling, helping with constituent and press | ||
| relations, researching policies, and drafting floor reports; in | ||
| addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public | ||
| service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the | ||
| issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A native of Mission, Mr. Ramírez previously served | ||
| as an intern in Representative Guerra's office during the 87th | ||
| Legislative Session; he earned a bachelor's degree in political | ||
| science with minors in history and legal studies from The | ||
| University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2021, and he plans to | ||
| attend St. Mary's University School of Law later this year; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his | ||
| duties as a legislative assistant with skill and dedication, and he | ||
| is indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Julían Ramírez for his service as a | ||
| legislative assistant in the office of State Representative | ||
| R. D. "Bobby" Guerra and extend to him sincere best wishes for | ||
| continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Ramírez as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
