WHEREAS, In recognition of his exemplary efforts as a City of | ||
Mesquite employee, Rocky King has been selected as one of the | ||
quarterly honorees in the Real Texas Service Champions program; and | ||
WHEREAS, This worthwhile initiative celebrates hard-working | ||
city employees who have distinguished themselves through their | ||
dedication, professionalism, and positive attitude; and | ||
WHEREAS, A heavy equipment operator in the Department of | ||
Public Works, Mr. King is responsible for collecting large brush | ||
and bulky items on his five routes; he performs his work with great | ||
skill and meticulousness, and he is admired for his friendly | ||
attitude toward residents and his mentorship of younger staff; and | ||
WHEREAS, On a daily basis, Rocky King renders valuable | ||
assistance to his fellow citizens, and he is indeed deserving of | ||
this prestigious award; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Rocky King on being selected as a | ||
Real Texas Service Champion by the City of Mesquite and extend to | ||
him sincere best wishes for continued success in his important | ||
work; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. King as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
House of Representatives. |
