R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, In recognition of his exemplary efforts as a City of
Mesquite employee, Rocky King has been selected as one of the
quarterly honorees in the Real Texas Service Champions program; and
WHEREAS, This worthwhile initiative celebrates hard-working
city employees who have distinguished themselves through their
dedication, professionalism, and positive attitude; and
WHEREAS, A heavy equipment operator in the Department of
Public Works, Mr. King is responsible for collecting large brush
and bulky items on his five routes; he performs his work with great
skill and meticulousness, and he is admired for his friendly
attitude toward residents and his mentorship of younger staff; and
WHEREAS, On a daily basis, Rocky King renders valuable
assistance to his fellow citizens, and he is indeed deserving of
this prestigious award; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Rocky King on being selected as a
Real Texas Service Champion by the City of Mesquite and extend to
him sincere best wishes for continued success in his important
work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. King as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
