WHEREAS, The Honorable Robert Hebert is being recognized for | ||
his many years of public service and for his contributions as the | ||
executive director of Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels at the | ||
organization's celebratory gala on October 14, 2021; and | ||
WHEREAS, Established in 1974, FBS Meals on Wheels provides | ||
nutrition and support services for senior citizens in Fort Bend and | ||
Waller Counties; a longtime supporter of the local nonprofit, Bob | ||
Hebert was appointed interim chief executive officer in 2019, and | ||
since that time, he has worked closely with board and staff members, | ||
civic partners, and volunteers to enhance operational efficiencies | ||
in order to meet the needs of the community; and | ||
WHEREAS, Mr. Hebert served four terms as Fort Bend County | ||
judge, from 2003 through 2018; his exemplary record of public | ||
service also includes tenures as temporary receiver for the City of | ||
Arcola and as city manager of Rosenberg; moreover, he has over 40 | ||
years of experience in strategic management and planning, | ||
principally through his consulting firm, Robert Hebert and | ||
Associates; he holds a master's degree in business administration | ||
from Pepperdine University and a doctorate in management from | ||
California Coast University; and | ||
WHEREAS, Demonstrating exceptional vision, skill, and | ||
leadership, Bob Hebert has rendered invaluable service to his | ||
fellow citizens, and his myriad achievements indeed merit special | ||
recognition; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas | ||
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commend Robert Hebert for | ||
his outstanding contributions to the Fort Bend County community and | ||
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his | ||
endeavors; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. Hebert as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
House of Representatives. | ||
