| WHEREAS, Briana Gonzalez has ably served her fellow Texans as | ||
| an intern in the office of State Representative Jim Murphy in | ||
| October 2021 during the 87th Legislature, 3rd Called Session; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Over the course of her internship, Ms. Gonzalez has | ||
| provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of | ||
| administrative tasks; in addition to gaining valuable experience in | ||
| the field of public service, she has learned more about the | ||
| legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star | ||
| State; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Ms. Gonzalez is a senior at Rowlett High School, | ||
| where she serves as chaplain of the choir and is a member of the | ||
| Rowlett Student Vocal Performers, the National Honor Society, and | ||
| the Fellowship of Christian Athletes; she is also a valued | ||
| congregant of The Northeast Church in Garland and participates in | ||
| the worship team at True Life Church in Mesquite; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her | ||
| duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is | ||
| indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas | ||
| Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commend Briana Gonzalez for | ||
| her service as a legislative intern in the office of State | ||
| Representative Jim Murphy and extend to her sincere best wishes for | ||
| continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Gonzalez as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
