	H.R. No. 137



	R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Briana Gonzalez has ably served her fellow Texans as
	an intern in the office of State Representative Jim Murphy in
	October 2021 during the 87th Legislature, 3rd Called Session; and
	WHEREAS, Over the course of her internship, Ms. Gonzalez has
	provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of
	administrative tasks; in addition to gaining valuable experience in
	the field of public service, she has learned more about the
	legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star
	State; and
	WHEREAS, Ms. Gonzalez is a senior at Rowlett High School,
	where she serves as chaplain of the choir and is a member of the
	Rowlett Student Vocal Performers, the National Honor Society, and
	the Fellowship of Christian Athletes; she is also a valued
	congregant of The Northeast Church in Garland and participates in
	the worship team at True Life Church in Mesquite; and
	WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
	duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is
	indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
	therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
	Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commend Briana Gonzalez for
	her service as a legislative intern in the office of State
	Representative Jim Murphy and extend to her sincere best wishes for
	continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for Ms. Gonzalez as an expression of high regard by the
	Texas House of Representatives.
